Palo Alto Networks Showcases AI Cybersecurity at Abu Dhabi Event

As enterprises worldwide contend with the rapid rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), increasing network complexity, and expanding threat surfaces, Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in cybersecurity, will spotlight the importance of platformisation, reducing complexity, and AI-driven security at Ignite on Tour Abu Dhabi on 18 February at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental.
The event will be inaugurated by H.E. Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cyber Security Council, and will convene 250 cybersecurity professionals, decision-makers, and senior executives. The agenda includes keynote sessions, panel discussions, technology demonstrations, and customer success stories, addressing key topics such as AI-powered threats, regulatory impacts, and secure digital transformation for government and industry.
“AI and cloud computing offer tremendous opportunities for transformation, but they also introduce new risks that must be mitigated. Organisations must be equipped to harness technological advancements while effectively managing their associated risks. This approach will ensure the UAE’s economy continues to diversify, thrive, and reinforce its position as a global hub for innovation,” stated Dr Al Kuwaiti.
He added that the Cyber Security Council remains committed to strengthening digital infrastructure through advanced technologies and robust security measures. The recent approval of the National Cybersecurity Strategy, he noted, will be instrumental in addressing the security challenges posed by AI as its implementation progresses.
Palo Alto Networks will showcase the impact of its Platformisation strategy, which consolidates multiple cybersecurity products and services into a unified, AI-powered architecture. Designed to streamline management, enhance operational efficiency, and leverage AI for advanced threat detection, the platform has gained traction among enterprises and partners. The company is on course to secure 2,500 to 3,500 Platformisation deals by 2030 as the industry increasingly embraces integrated security solutions.

“The convergence of AI-driven cyber threats, expanding attack surfaces, and escalating complexity poses significant challenges to organisations worldwide. However, the impact is particularly pronounced in the Middle East, where public and private sector entities are at the forefront of digital transformation, aligning with government visions and economic diversification goals,” said Jordi Botifoll, Vice President, EMEA South & Emerging, Palo Alto Networks.
“At Ignite on Tour Abu Dhabi, we will demonstrate how AI-powered cybersecurity tools and a unified security platform can fortify organisations against emerging threats while enabling seamless expansion and digital transformation. These solutions align with national initiatives such as We the UAE 2031.”
With AI increasingly exploited by cybercriminals, attendees will also gain insights into defending against AI-enabled threats through Precision AI, Palo Alto Networks’ proprietary system. Leveraging extensive data and security-specific models, Precision AI automates detection, prevention, and remediation with industry-leading accuracy.
As organisations struggle with overlapping cybersecurity solutions—some relying on up to 100 different tools, leading to inefficiencies and security gaps—Platformisation offers a streamlined approach, consolidating security functions within a single platform to enhance resilience and reduce complexity.
