Saudi Arabia’s globally acclaimed tech event, LEAP, is set to return for its fourth edition, promising to chart new frontiers from February 9-12, 2025. The event will take place at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham under the theme “Into New Worlds.”

For the first time, LEAP will adopt a ticketed format, focusing on drawing a higher concentration of influential industry leaders to foster meaningful networking and investment opportunities. Co-organized by Tahaluf and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, alongside partners such as Informa PLC, the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, and the Events Investment Fund, LEAP 2025 will feature an expanded lineup of cutting-edge attractions.

The event will include more than 20 stages covering diverse sectors such as space exploration, gaming, education, and smart cities. Highlights include the return of DeepFest, the introduction of a SportsTech Track, a dedicated Tech Arena, and the launch of LEAP Nights — a series of cultural and social experiences in Riyadh.

Abdullah Alswaha, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, underscored LEAP’s significance: “LEAP has firmly positioned Saudi Arabia as a global technology hub, aligning with the goals of Vision 2030. The decision to move to a ticketed format enhances its exclusivity, making it a must-attend event for global technology leaders. LEAP 2025 will showcase exceptional innovations and ensure Saudi Arabia leads as a global technology aggregator.”

The event is expected to host over 1,800 global tech brands, 680 startups, and more than 1,000 expert speakers. Among the star attractions is the SportsTech Track, where attendees will witness the intersection of sports and technology through live demonstrations and announcements. Former footballers and entrepreneurs Patrice Evra and Mathieu Flamini are among the confirmed speakers.

Another major draw is the Tech Arena, offering live product demos, hands-on experiences with prototypes, and interactive sessions. For startups, the Startup Stage will provide a platform for innovators to pitch their ideas and forge connections with investors and partners.

Expanding beyond the exhibition halls, LEAP Nights will bring attendees into Riyadh’s vibrant cultural fabric through curated dinners, meetups, and entertainment, creating opportunities to network in a relaxed setting.

Faisal Alkhamisi, chairman of the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones, highlighted LEAP 2025’s role in staying ahead of the rapid evolution of technology, hinting at even greater innovations to be revealed during the event.

Michael Champion, CEO of Tahaluf, Saudi Arabia’s largest B2B event organizer and organizer of iconic brands LEAP, Cityscape, and Black Hat MEA, added: “By transforming LEAP, we are creating a more curated experience. Transitioning to a ticketed model will allow exhibitors and participants to benefit from direct access to a highly engaged and laser-focused audience, leading to more meaningful collaborations and business opportunities. This change reflects our commitment to delivering an event that continues to set the gold standard for tech innovation globally.”
