DMCC, Dubai’s leading international business district, is connecting Web3 and AI communities in Dubai and Vietnam, building on the UAE-Vietnam Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) signed in October. The partnership highlights the immense potential for trade and investment in technology-driven sectors.
During its second Made For Trade Live roadshow to Vietnam this year, DMCC hosted over 650 business leaders, founders, and start-ups across three events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, fostering trade, investment, and collaboration between the two nations. A dedicated session on Web3 and AI investments, held with Web3 venture builder SightSea Labs, explored how Vietnamese Web3 businesses could leverage Dubai’s advanced infrastructure to tap into the CEPA-driven US$20 billion trade corridor.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DMCC’s Executive Chairman and CEO, stated, “Vietnam’s leadership in AI innovation and high crypto adoption rates position it as a key player in the Web3 space. With the UAE-Vietnam CEPA unlocking opportunities to quadruple bilateral trade, we are committed to enhancing economic and technological ties with Vietnam’s dynamic business community.”
DMCC’s roadshow series strengthens Dubai’s reputation as a global business hub, contributing 15% of the emirate’s annual FDI inflows. With 25,000 member companies, DMCC continues to drive global trade and innovation.
