SAL & STC Group Sign MoU to Boost Digital Logistics

SAL Logistics Services, a leading provider of logistics and supply chain solutions in the Kingdom, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with stc Group to advance digital solutions and improve operational efficiency in logistics operations.

The agreement seeks to enhance logistics capabilities by integrating cutting-edge technologies, optimising supply chain management, and aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives. The MoU was signed during the LEAP Conference by Eng. Mohammed Al Sheikh, Chief Strategy, Development & Execution Officer at SAL Saudi Logistics Services, and Mr. Abdulaziz Al-Haydar, Vice President of Enterprise Accounts at stc Group, in the presence of senior executives from both companies.

Eng. Mohammed Al Sheikh, Chief Strategy, Development & Execution Officer at SAL, stated: “This Memorandum of Understanding represents a significant step in our customer-centric strategy to enhance logistics operations across the Kingdom. By integrating advanced digital solutions such as artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, we are strengthening the digital capabilities of our operational processes. This initiative underscores our commitment to operational excellence, improved customer service, and the ongoing development of digital infrastructure in the logistics sector.”

The collaboration focuses on advancing logistics efficiency at SAL through the implementation of state-of-the-art tracking systems, warehouse automation, and enhanced shipment monitoring. Additionally, it will drive the adoption of AI-powered solutions and IoT technologies, further optimising logistics operations and supply chain management.

This strategic partnership reinforces the positions of both companies within the logistics, transportation, digital, and telecommunications sectors. It also supports the Kingdom’s digital transformation agenda by strengthening digital logistics infrastructure. Aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy, this initiative contributes to positioning the Kingdom as a global logistics hub.
