Dubai eyes AED100 billion growth with new AI Campus to support start-ups

Dubai’s Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has announced the
launch of the first phase of the Dubai AI Campus at the Dubai International Financial Centre. This
initiative is part of Dubai’s annual plan to accelerate the adoption of AI applications.

Set to become the largest AI and technology hub in the Middle East and North Africa, the campus will
provide startups access to supercomputers and a supportive legislative environment, aiming to attract over 500 companies and create more than 3,000 jobs.

The campus is expected to expand to over 100,000 square feet by 2028. Guided by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision, the project aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to contribute AED100 billion annually to Dubai’s economy through digital transformation over the next decade.

This initiative highlights Dubai’s commitment to sustainable economic growth driven by innovation and
future technologies, reinforcing the city’s reputation as a global leader in technological advancement.
