  • PublishedFebruary 5, 2025

BKN301 Group, a London-based Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) technology provider operating across European and MENA markets, has designated its Qatar office as the regional headquarters for the MENA region. This development aligns with the company’s ongoing strategic expansion and commitment to supporting digital transformation in the financial sector.

With the Qatar office now fully operational, it will serve as a regional hub, offering advanced BaaS Orchestrator solutions and financial services tailored to the MENA market. The office will be led by Jordan A. Fabbri, Qatar Country Leader of BKN301, ensuring the seamless delivery of financial technology solutions across the region.

This decision comes as Qatar’s digital economy experiences significant growth, driving the expansion of its fintech ecosystem. Digital investment is expected to be a key factor in this growth, with assets under management (AUM) in the sector projected to reach USD 3.85 million (QAR 14.01 million) by 2025. In parallel, Qatar’s digital payments market continues to expand, with the number of users anticipated to reach 2.87 million by 2028.

Stiven Muccioli, Founder and CEO of BKN301, stated: “The decision to establish our Qatar office as the regional headquarters reflects the country’s increasing role as a fintech innovation hub. By strengthening our presence, we aim to better serve the market and contribute to its continued development. As the region progresses towards greater economic diversification, we are committed to supporting Qatar’s vision for a robust digital economy while enhancing our ability to deliver high-quality financial solutions.”

The expansion aligns with the Qatar Central Bank’s fintech initiatives and the broader objectives of the ‘National Vision 2030’ strategy, which aims to drive economic diversification and technological innovation.

Jordan A. Fabbri, Qatar Country Leader of BKN301, commented: “Our presence in Qatar will accelerate the implementation of our BaaS Orchestrator platform, allowing businesses to integrate and deliver financial products more efficiently. With Qatar’s digital payments landscape rapidly evolving, we are well-positioned to support the growing demand for innovative financial services.”

As fintech adoption continues to rise across the region, BKN301 remains committed to advancing the financial services sector through technology-driven solutions
