JAGGAER Unveils JAI to Transform Enterprise Procurement With AI

JAGGAER has introduced to customers and partners its latest bold leap forward in enterprise procurement transformation. JAI, pronounced “Jay”, is an intelligent, human-guided AI orchestrator that not only provides advanced guidance and navigation but also presents a vital opportunity to deliver new value. JAI is more than an assistant; it is an insightful partner for procurement teams.

As agentic AI begins to reshape global commerce, JAGGAER has reimagined the relationship between procurement and technology. JAI forms part of JAGGAER One and represents the next evolution of JAGGAER Assist. It is an embedded conversational chatbot powered by large language models (LLMs), incorporating Q&A capabilities, PO invoice anomaly detection, and generative AI drafting and summarisation — now enhanced with more powerful orchestration. With JAI, customers will experience intuitive, efficient end-user journeys across the platform, with a critically important ‘Human in the Loop’.

JAGGAER customers can begin using JAI Assist today — a conversational assistant with contextual coaching that streamlines procurement by answering queries, guiding navigation, and initiating tasks such as RFP creation and supplier evaluation. Looking ahead to 2025, JAI Copilot will deliver advanced contextual support, identifying anomalies and recommending actions, providing real-time guidance across sourcing, contracting, and supplier management — saving valuable hours of analysis.

This will be followed by JAI Autopilot, a no-code/low-code agentic platform for autonomously managing complex procurement workflows, elevating strategic decision-making. This pragmatic evolution offers JAGGAER customers trusted speed and scalability.

While earlier releases provided self-service assistance, knowledge retrieval, and natural language-triggered workflows, JAGGAER is advancing AI capabilities significantly. Beginning this autumn, JAI will deliver full orchestration of intelligent features through agent orchestrators capable of managing tasks such as forecasting, spend management, cash flow oversight, contract management, and RFx automation — within a unified, conversational, and outcome-led experience.

JAI has been developed to revolutionise how users engage, decide, and deliver results. Until now, AI agents have typically executed tasks like PO matching and supplier outreach end-to-end. JAI, however, is capable of orchestrating those agents in Copilot mode, working collaboratively with human users towards business goals.

As such, JAI acts as a trusted digital advisor, coordinating across domain agents — whether in sourcing, contracting, or category strategy.
