  • PublishedMay 30, 2025

Samsung Gulf Electronics has officially unveiled its latest concept, AI Home, an immersive experience showcasing the brand’s next-generation innovations in entertainment, appliances, and connected living. Hosted within a smart villa-style home in Dubai, the event highlighted Samsung’s vision of a seamlessly integrated, AI-driven lifestyle.

From cutting-edge Neo QLED and OLED TVs to bespoke AI appliances and intelligent monitors, the AI Home demonstrated how connected technology can enhance daily routines, transforming them into intuitive, personalised experiences powered by SmartThings — Samsung’s global Internet of Things (IoT) platform.

Doohee Lee, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, stated: “The home of the future is about more than smart devices; it’s about intelligence that unifies them. Through Samsung AI Home and the SmartThings ecosystem, we are redefining how homes can think, adapt and respond to individual lifestyles. It’s an approach that aligns with the UAE’s ambition to lead in AI innovation, offering sustainable, future-ready living solutions that prioritise wellbeing and energy efficiency.”

The AI Home experience featured eight distinct lifestyle zones reflecting everyday scenarios, from immersive movie nights and AI-powered workspaces to connected kitchens and intelligent home management systems.

AI at the Heart of Home Entertainment

Central to the showcase was Samsung’s 2025 visual display line-up, with significant upgrades across TVs and soundbars. Expanding its TV portfolio from 26 to 50 models, Samsung introduced new Neo QLED, OLED, and The Frame Pro series, all equipped with Vision AI — an advanced engine that adapts picture quality and acts as a smart home hub.

The Neo QLED range, led by the flagship 8K model with the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, delivers real-time scene optimisation, advanced upscaling, and adaptive sound. Innovations like Glare Free technology ensure brilliant visuals in any lighting, while screen sizes now reach an impressive 115 inches.

OLED fans were introduced to the S95F, a premium gaming-ready TV with ultra-smooth motion handling and advanced HDR. The expanded OLED line-up now includes the more accessible S85 model, bringing AI-enhanced performance, Dolby Atmos sound, and seamless SmartThings connectivity to a broader audience.

The Frame Pro, meanwhile, merges form and function with a matte display designed to replicate the look of canvas, offering wireless 4K video transmission for a clean, cable-free aesthetic.

Samsung’s Q Series soundbars, now in their eleventh consecutive year as the global leader, were also on show. The 2025 range boasts immersive surround sound with Dolby Atmos and new space-saving designs, while the Convertible Soundbar intelligently adjusts its output based on its positioning.

A Smarter, Healthier Home

Samsung’s latest Bespoke AI home appliances took centre stage too, each equipped with integrated AI Home displays and connected features via SmartThings. The Bespoke AI Refrigerator now includes a 9-inch display for managing schedules, notes, and device control, alongside recipe suggestions and food expiry alerts.

In the laundry room, the new Bespoke AI Washer and Dryer models offer enhanced capacities and AI-driven cycles that detect load weight, fabric type, and soil level. They also feature displays for real-time updates and allow users to interact with other connected devices mid-cycle.

The AI Jet Ultra vacuum cleaner rounds out the appliance innovations, delivering up to 400W suction and AI Cleaning Mode, which adjusts settings based on floor type and learned usage patterns, all while keeping users connected through on-device notifications.

Gaming and Productivity Reimagined

For gaming enthusiasts, Samsung introduced the Odyssey 3D (G90XF), the brand’s first glasses-free 3D gaming monitor. Utilising eye-tracking and a lenticular lens, it delivers immersive, natural 3D visuals. A Reality Hub app extends this capability to converted 2D content. The monitor offers a 165Hz refresh rate, 4K resolution, and AI video conversion for a next-generation experience.

Also featured was the Smart M9 OLED, Samsung’s first OLED Smart Monitor, combining best-in-class display performance, AI-enhanced visuals, and full SmartThings integration for a unified entertainment and productivity hub.

Through AI Home, Samsung positions itself at the forefront of connected living, offering intelligent, personalised experiences designed to simplify and elevate modern lifestyles.
