G42 and Italy’s iGenius Launch Europe’s Largest AI Deployment

G42, the leading AI technology group from Abu Dhabi, has announced a strategic partnership with iGenius. The collaboration, made through its subsidiary Core42, will deliver the largest AI compute deployment in Europe. This move highlights growing momentum in bilateral ties and aligns with both nations’ ambition to drive innovation, boost economic growth, and create shared value through technology.

The agreement creates a strong framework for cooperation. It positions G42 as a trusted enabler of global digital transformation, with Core42 playing a leading role in delivering AI infrastructure. Announced at Investopia Europe

The partnership was revealed during the 3rd Edition of Investopia Europe. The event welcomed senior Italian ministers and UAE officials. Notable attendees included H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Chairman of Investopia; H.E. Adolfo Urso, Minister of Enterprise and Made in Italy; and H.E. Alia Bint Abdulla Al Mazrouei, UAE Minister of State for Entrepreneurship. Leaders from G42, Core42, and iGenius were also present.

Major Milestone in AI Infrastructure

At the heart of the partnership lies a high-performance GPU cluster powered by thousands of NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. This major deployment marks a significant milestone for Europe’s sovereign AI infrastructure. Core42 will manage the rollout across Europe, specialising in sovereign cloud, AI infrastructure, and digital services.

iGenius will support this effort by launching its first data centre, Colosseum. This facility will offer over 100 Exaflops of compute, specifically designed for AI workloads. More than just a data centre, it will serve as a blueprint for future AI factories, meeting strict standards for security, reliability, and accuracy.

Accelerating Europe’s AI Ambitions

The new compute cluster will fast-track AI training, inferencing, and application development across industries such as financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector. It is designed to meet growing demand for secure and scalable infrastructure, supporting Europe’s digital sovereignty goals.
