AI-Powered Platform to Simplify Enterprise IT Operations

Extreme Networks has introduced Extreme Platform ONE, a new AI-powered technology platform designed to streamline enterprise IT by integrating networking, security, and automation. The platform promises to cut task completion times from hours to minutes, using interactive and autonomous AI agents to support IT, security, and business teams. It also offers simplified licensing to reduce procurement complexities.
Ed Meyercord, President and CEO of Extreme Networks, said: “Today, IT leaders face mounting challenges—balancing increasing complexity and costs while driving innovation through digital transformation, cloud migrations, and AI. With Extreme Platform ONE, we’ve reduced the complexity of networking in isolation, fulfilling the broken promises of automation through AI. We’re delivering on the demands of our customers and partners to help drive their businesses forward with unprecedented efficiency and innovation.”
The newly launched platform integrates workflows, services, and data across teams such as networking, security, finance, and procurement. Its flexible workspace provides real-time, customisable insights, facilitating cross-domain collaboration. It also supports third-party integrations with partners including Intel, Microsoft Security, and ServiceNow.
Incorporating advanced AI, the platform features Extreme AI Expert, which extends beyond conventional chatbots to deliver automation tailored to organisational needs. AI-driven capabilities support planning, management, analysis, and governance, reducing manual intervention and improving operational efficiency.
Licensing has been simplified through a single subscription model that includes network management, AI, and support services. Security features can be added as needed, alleviating administrative burdens and streamlining procurement and renewal processes.
Nabil Bukhari, Chief Product and Technology Officer and GM of Subscriptions at Extreme Networks, commented: “Extreme has challenged the status quo at every step— from pioneering cloud networking to simplifying licensing with Universal hardware. Now, Extreme Platform ONE transforms AI potential into reality. In internal benchmarking, we’ve reduced troubleshooting and remediation times by up to 95 percent. AI adoption will move at the pace of trust, and with this platform, customers can leverage AI at a level that suits them.”
