DMCC, Dubai’s leading global business district, has unveiled the DMCC Crypto Centre Metaverse, a groundbreaking application of Web3 technology designed to enhance its role in global trade.
Developed in partnership with Infinite Reality, the Metaverse platform offers interactive gamified zones where users can engage with the DMCC Crypto Centre team. It also provides access to specialised service clinics focusing on banking, compliance, and insurance, making it a practical and user-friendly digital ecosystem.
Belal Jassoma, Director of Ecosystems at DMCC, highlighted the platform’s potential, stating: “Even in a conservative scenario, the global metaverse market is expected to surpass US$3.1 trillion by 2030. With the DMCC Crypto Centre Metaverse, we’re delivering an advanced digital experience for our members while showcasing a tangible use case for next-gen technologies like blockchain and AI.”
Jassoma further emphasised the initiative’s broader impact, adding that it strengthens Dubai’s reputation as a global innovation hub and sets the stage for a scalable, interoperable metaverse that benefits multiple industries.
This initiative aligns with Dubai’s ambitious Metaverse Strategy, which aims to position the emirate among the top 10 global metaverse economies and as a leader in immersive technology. The creation of the DMCC Crypto Centre digital twin reinforces Dubai’s vision of becoming a hub for future-ready innovations.
