Atlassian launches free access program for startups

This initiative aims to support growing startups by providing access to advanced features of key productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, Loom, Jira Product Discovery, Bitbucket, and Compass.
Atlassian has long offered free tiers for its tools, but the new program significantly expands this access. “We love the idea of removing the burden of work management and project management,” said Atlassian CMO Zeynep Inanoglu Ozdemir. The program seeks to integrate startups into the Atlassian ecosystem early on, ensuring they remain long-term users as they scale.
While traditionally rooted in the tech community, Atlassian is also targeting non-tech startups, especially with products like Jira and Confluence. The company’s recent acquisition of Loom further strengthens its appeal to a broader range of industries. Ozdemir anticipates significant interest from non-tech companies in the new program.
