Viettel High Tech (VHT) has signed a significant contract worth over $1 million with High Cloud Technologies (HCT) in the UAE to supply advanced 5G systems for the Middle Eastern market.
This agreement marks a pivotal partnership between VHT, a leading Vietnamese technology developer, and HCT, a prominent player in the Middle East’s telecommunications industry, known for its collaborations with major operators like MTN, MCI, Du, STC, and Etisalat.
Under the contract, Viettel High Tech will provide cutting-edge 4G and 5G base stations utilising Non-Standalone (NSA) technology, alongside a cloud-based core network infrastructure. This advanced suite of solutions highlights VHT’s capability to deliver comprehensive telecom technologies, from core networks to access points.
HCT will deploy Viettel’s telecom solutions and equipment to execute commercial 5G contracts and trials with key telecom operators in the region. These trials aim to showcase the efficiency and reliability of Viettel’s products, positioning them as a competitive choice in the growing 5G market.
VHT’s technology is noted for its cost-effectiveness and high performance, offering HCT the tools to extend telecom coverage across the UAE and into underserved areas of the Middle East, particularly rural regions. This collaboration is expected to enhance connectivity, education, and overall living standards in these communities.

Since 2017, Viettel High Tech has been investing in 4G and 5G technology development. By 2024, it has emerged as a major player ready to commercialise its 5G systems globally.
The UAE contract represents VHT’s inaugural venture into the Middle East, a milestone in its journey to becoming a global telecom solutions provider.
