Emaar Launches VYOM Digital Platform for Property Resale
Emaar Properties has announced the launch of VYOM, a digital resale platform designed to simplify and modernise how Emaar properties are bought and sold. The platform offers an end-to-end experience, providing homeowners and investors with greater transparency and direct control over the resale process.
Available to users globally, VYOM allows property owners to manage listings, upload images, and respond to enquiries through a streamlined, intuitive interface. The initiative forms part of Emaar’s ongoing digital transformation strategy, aimed at addressing longstanding inefficiencies within the resale segment of Dubai’s real estate market.
“As the real estate landscape shifts, so must we. VYOM is more than a platform — it’s a new way of thinking about property resale. It puts autonomy, trust, and speed into the hands of our customers,” stated Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Founder of Emaar.
The move comes as digital property resales gain momentum worldwide. According to Vogue Business, the global online resale market is forecast to reach US $350 billion by 2028, fuelled by demand for quicker, more transparent and customer-controlled transactions.
By addressing challenges such as inconsistent pricing, market opacity, and fragmented communication channels, VYOM aims to foster a fairer and more informed resale environment. It enables direct interaction between buyers and sellers, removing reliance on multiple intermediaries and traditional brokerage processes.
The platform is now live, with Emaar confirming plans to expand its capabilities to include rental services in the near future.
