CrowdStrike, has announced new innovations in its Falcon Exposure Management, streamlining cybersecurity by eliminating outdated vulnerability management tools and extending AI-powered risk prioritisation to network assets. The newly launched Network Vulnerability Assessment capability allows security teams to identify and address high-risk vulnerabilities in network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls, in real time—without needing additional scanners, agents, or hardware.
The Falcon platform’s single-agent architecture enables organisations to replace legacy vulnerability management systems with a single click. This consolidation improves security operations and modernises risk models by shifting from static, CVSS-based approaches to an adversary-driven model. Customers of Falcon Exposure Management also receive free scanning for up to 10% of their assets, enabling them to experience the benefits of AI-powered, platform-driven exposure management immediately.
Elia Zaitsev, Chief Technology Officer at CrowdStrike, commented, “Network scanning is a staple in virtually every security stack, and bringing it to the Falcon platform—and replacing legacy solutions—is one of our top customer demands. For too long, organisations have relied on outdated, hardware-dependent solutions that failed to prioritise risks effectively. With Falcon, everything is natively built in—the industry’s most advanced adversary intelligence, AI, and a lightweight agent adapted as a network scanner—enabling teams to protect network devices with a single click.”
As adversaries evolve, traditional vulnerability management tools fall short, often missing how vulnerabilities are chained together in real-world attacks. According to the 2025 CrowdStrike Global Threat Report, attackers are increasingly exploiting multiple vulnerabilities in sequence to escalate privileges and execute remote code, bypassing traditional risk models. Legacy solutions lack the real-time threat intelligence and AI capabilities to correlate vulnerabilities with attack patterns, leaving organisations vulnerable.
CrowdStrike’s Falcon Exposure Management prioritises vulnerabilities based on real-world attack paths, helping teams mitigate risks before breaches occur. By understanding how attackers exploit vulnerabilities sequentially, organisations can reduce critical risks by up to 98%. With the Network Vulnerability Assessment, CrowdStrike extends these capabilities to network assets, providing comprehensive risk visibility, prioritisation, and automated remediation, all without requiring extra scanners or hardware.
Key features include:
-
Real-Time, Continuous Network Assessments: Real-time visibility into both managed and unmanaged devices, using the lightweight agent as a network scanner.
-
AI-Driven Risk Prioritisation: Patented ExPRT.AI identifies the 5% of vulnerabilities driving 95% of the risk.
-
Cross-Domain Exposure Management: A unified view of attack paths across endpoints, cloud, IT/IoT, and network assets.
-
Automated Remediation: Integrated with Falcon Fusion SOAR for real-time, automated risk mitigation.
Falcon Exposure Management offers a comprehensive, unified solution for enterprise risk, consolidating security tools and streamlining network protection.
