Acronis Launches Ultimate 365 to Strengthen MSP Cybersecurity
  • PublishedMarch 3, 2025

At its second annual Threat Research Unit (TRU) Partner Day in Dubai, Acronis introduced Acronis Ultimate 365, a comprehensive security and backup solution for managed service providers (MSPs). Designed for Microsoft 365 environments, the platform integrates cybersecurity, backup, and compliance management into a single, multi-tenant system, aiming to enhance operational efficiency, reduce technician workloads, and streamline customer management.

With Microsoft 365 widely adopted across the region, holding an estimated 40% market share in the UAE, the launch presents a strategic opportunity for Acronis’ more than 370 regional MSP partners, including 200 based in the UAE. Speaking at the event, Ziad Nasr, General Manager, Acronis Middle East, highlighted the growing security risks associated with Microsoft 365.

“Microsoft 365’s extensive user base makes it a prime target for cyber threats such as phishing, email-based attacks, and social engineering,” Nasr stated. “Many MSPs currently manage security and backup for Microsoft 365 using multiple separate tools, creating inefficiencies, security gaps, and increased costs. Acronis Ultimate 365 simplifies this by providing a fully integrated solution that enhances security while reducing complexity.”

The platform consolidates backup, extended detection and response (XDR), email security, collaboration app security, email archiving, security posture management, and security awareness training into a single interface. This approach not only strengthens cybersecurity but also streamlines service management for MSPs.

Beyond security, Acronis Ultimate 365 is designed to accelerate revenue generation for MSPs by simplifying client onboarding, reducing reliance on multiple third-party tools, and eliminating lengthy contract negotiations. The centralized platform enables providers to scale services efficiently while maintaining a predictable pricing structure.

Gerald Beuchelt, CISO at Acronis, emphasized the importance of reducing complexity for MSPs. “Service providers often face tool sprawl, time-consuming onboarding, and fragmented security management. Acronis Ultimate 365 eliminates these challenges by offering a single, powerful platform that integrates XDR, email security, and security awareness training—helping MSPs enhance security while improving operational efficiency.”

Acronis’ Middle East partners adopting Ultimate 365 are expected to see improved profitability through reduced management overhead and a flexible, scalable pricing model. The integrated approach allows MSPs to differentiate their services, create new revenue streams, and deliver enhanced value to clients.

The email archiving feature of Acronis Ultimate 365 is available in early access, with general availability expected in Q2 2025, while the security posture management tool is nearing deployment.
