The Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an has signed a MoU with Hub71, Abu Dhabi’s global tech ecosystem, to advance social tech entrepreneurship and create a lasting impact in the emirate.
Through this partnership, Ma’an will support Hub71’s social startups by providing resources, mentorship, and access to opportunities. Social enterprises will also benefit from incentives like Abu Dhabi’s first Social Certificate, recognising businesses that contribute to sustainable solutions and enhance community wellbeing.
The collaboration paves the way for Ma’an-supported social tech startups to join Hub71’s ecosystem, offering them access to in-kind and cash incentives, as well as a network of corporate, government, and investment partners. This opens doors for these enterprises to strengthen their presence locally and expand globally.
Additionally, Ma’an and Hub71 will collaborate on reports analysing Abu Dhabi’s social tech landscape, focusing on key players, funding availability, and regulatory frameworks. These insights aim to guide stakeholders in fostering a more robust ecosystem for social innovation.
