Ooredoo, Infobip, Microsoft Launch AI Hub Qatar

Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecom and ICT provider, has teamed up with global cloud communications platform Infobip and Microsoft to launch AI Hub, a cutting-edge conversational AI platform designed to revolutionise customer interactions in Qatar.
The launch was marked by a key industry event, gathering leaders from Qatar’s private and public sectors to showcase how AI Hub is poised to transform customer engagement and enhance user experiences.
The event highlighted three major digital trends: the rising preference for messaging over calls among Generation Z and Generation Alpha, the growing role of AI in customer communication, and the evolution of chat platforms like WhatsApp into multifunctional “super apps,” which now boast over 1.9 million active users in Qatar.
AI Hub integrates OpenAI on Microsoft Azure with advanced messaging tools, enabling businesses to streamline and personalise customer interactions. Attendees explored its potential through live demonstrations and presentations by experts from Infobip, Microsoft, and Ooredoo.
Discussions covered critical topics such as the future of conversational AI, the use of Generative AI in B2B communications, and the innovative solutions driving next-gen customer experiences.
“At Ooredoo, we’re committed to empowering businesses with tools that redefine customer engagement,” stated Thani Al Malki, Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar. “Our collaboration with Infobip and Microsoft allows us to deliver AI-driven solutions that boost efficiency, deepen connections, and position Qatar at the forefront of digital transformation.”
This partnership supports Qatar National Vision 2030, aligning with Ooredoo’s mission to drive digital innovation, strengthen local enterprises, and contribute to the nation’s economic growth through advanced technology solutions.
