SpiderSilk, the Gulf region’s first cyber-AI startup, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sirar, the cybersecurity arm of Saudi Telecom Company’s STC Group. The agreement, unveiled at the prestigious Black Hat cybersecurity event, lays the groundwork for a robust technology partnership between the two organisations.

The MoU enables SpiderSilk to integrate its flagship platform, Resonance, with Sirar’s managed security services. This collaboration aims to enhance Sirar’s continuous external exposure capabilities, bolstering cybersecurity offerings for its extensive customer ecosystem.

As part of the partnership, SpiderSilk will introduce a suite of cutting-edge products, including autonomous agents designed to scale security operations. These innovations will underpin joint efforts to develop advanced cybersecurity solutions tailored to the needs of Saudi Arabia’s growing market.

SpiderSilk, now headquartered in Saudi Arabia, views the MoU as a pivotal step in solidifying its presence in the region while co-creating intellectual property with Sirar.

Rami El Malak, SpiderSilk’s CEO and Co-Founder, stated: “We are thrilled to partner with Sirar, a forward-thinking organisation. Together, we aim to craft bespoke cybersecurity technologies that safeguard Sirar’s clientele. Regional and sovereign innovation has never been more critical, and SpiderSilk is proud to contribute to this mission.”

This milestone follows a period of rapid growth for SpiderSilk, which has quintupled revenues since its last funding round. As the GCC’s first cyber-AI company to achieve global reach, more than half its revenue now stems from North America.
