The highly anticipated World Summit AI (WSAI) is making its debut in the MENA region this December. Organized by InspiredMinds, WSAI Qatar will take place at the Doha Exhibition & Convention Center (DECC) on December 10 and 11, 2024, supported by Qatar’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
The Middle East is rapidly emerging as a leading hub for AI innovation, fueled by bold investments aimed at transforming industries and improving quality of life. Qatar, guided by its National Vision 2030, is positioning itself as a global AI leader, and the exclusive launch of WSAI Qatar cements its role on the international stage.
Since 2017, World Summit AI has grown into the largest and most influential AI gathering worldwide. This dynamic two-day event is a critical platform for discussing AI’s challenges, opportunities, and future potential on a global scale.
Under the theme “Putting Humanity at the Heart of AI,” the summit will highlight Qatar’s National AI & Machine Learning Strategy, focusing on human-AI convergence, innovation, and responsible governance. The decisions made at the event will help shape the future of technology.
Sarah Porter, CEO and Founder of InspiredMinds, stated, “The InspiredMinds community is a powerful collection of human minds in AI. We’re thrilled to partner with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Qatar, to bring this critical event to Doha. It’s an essential time for the future of AI, and inclusivity remains a key focus for us.”
The event will feature over 100 expert speakers across 10 tracks and 4 stages, with a special focus on Intelligent Health (IH), showcasing how AI is being used to save lives. Attendees will engage in meaningful discussions, build impactful collaborations, and witness the breakthroughs guiding Qatar towards a responsible, AI-driven future.
