The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, part of Dubai Chambers, revealed its first-quarter 2024
accomplishments, highlighting its support for startups. These efforts align with the Dubai Economic
Agenda (D33) to position Dubai as the global digital economy capital.
The “Create Apps in Dubai”; initiative trained 200 Emiratis and launched the ‘App Olympics’ competition, attracting over 1,100 global entries. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced an expanded global edition to increase international participation.
The chamber supported 45 high-potential digital startups and signed four MoUs to offer tailored services
for tech companies. It also launched the international promotional campaign for Expand North Star 2024, targeting startups and investors, with its first roadshow in Poland engaging 150 tech firms.
